On a warm fall day where the temps were in the 70'sm I painted the sunset. I had been painting all day from noon on, first at the golf course, and then by the lake. I had just finished with my kayak painting when the sun started it's journey into night. It was an absolutely gorgeous start to a sunset and, even though I was tired after painting all day, it just begged to be captured in oil.
Wonderful end to a marvelous day of painting.

This little jewel was painted in plein aire looking up the golf course at Lakewood Country Club. It was a chilly day but clear and beautiful. There were even a few golfers who thought the weather was just prefect for enjoying nature. This piece was created entirely by pallet knife.
Just loved painting the park like setting of the golf course.
