Got the tripod extension for my EnPleinAirPro easel

So today, I put together the EnPleinAirPro easel pallette on the tripod extender that came a couple days ago. It took me awhile to figure out how to attach it and the size canvases it would hold. Also how to position everything for maximum efficiency while painting. Learning curves are always a hinderance when trying out new equipment but working the bugs out before I go to the field is crucial for me.

I like the look of the setup and the weight (or lack thereof). Will be field testing it sometime this week so I can see which set up works better for me; either using the pallette on my aluminum easel or on the tripod with the panel holder attachment.  Both are about the same weight wise, however the tripod fits into its carrying case and the rest of supplies, including the pallette, into my back pack.  The aluminum easel has to be transported by hand as it does not condense down enough to fit in a carry case or attach to the backpack nicely.

So next week, I will posts my field testing of both set ups and let you know the pros and cons of each.

Till then, happy painting and enjoy the spring,

Jennylynne Gragg
